Hi, I’m Mary Hawk, a licensed mental health counselor with over 24 years of experience. I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship struggles, and the big transitions that can turn a life upside down. Midlife is where I most often work, and it’s often called a “crisis,” but I see it as a profound invitation. A chance to pause. To look at what’s no longer working. To gently tend to the parts of ourselves we’ve long neglected. And to ask: What now? I know this terrain because I’ve walked it myself. I’m a mom of two adult children, navigating menopause, divorced after a long marriage, and someone who has rebuilt a life from the inside out. I’ve lived overseas, helped raise other people’s children, cared for my aging parents, and cared deeply, sometimes to my own detriment, before finding my way back to my own voice, body, and becoming. You can too. Therapy with me is warm, unhurried, and deeply human. I draw from a psychodynamic and relational framework, and I work at a pace that feels safe for you. I bring my presence, intuition, and care into every session. I believe healing happens in relationship, and that we are never meant to do this work alone.
